Case Study - Errigal Fish Ltd.

Errigal Fish Limited is situated in the North West of Ireland and adjacent to one of Europe's largest fishing ports where we have access to the freshest sea fish from the clear North Atlantic Waters. Errigal Fish are involved in the primary, secondary and tertiary processing of shellfish and pelagic products for reprocessing, wholesale and retail markets.

Heavey Technology have implemented at Track and Trace system for backwards and forwards Traceability of all products from goods inwards goods outwards and all ingredients and packaging. The system includes a number of OCM (outer case marking) stations where product is weighed and marked with a barcode label using a Zebra Label printer. These OCM stations provide on-demand carton labeling, automatically recording all production data centrally to facilitate Analysis of Give-away, Production Yields, Production Costings, and Stock Control, etc.

Each OCM station will be mounted in a mobile stainless steel enclosure, and            will be capable of handling the following processes:

• Carton production & labeling
• Tray production for storage
• Tray production for pasteurization
• Frozen Block production & labelling
• IQF production & labeling
• Product re-packing / re-labelling
